The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.
Former two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly proceeding.
